Your health journey is personal. Here is exactly what we do — and don't do — with your data.
Your data never leaves your device.
No accounts, no cloud sync, no servers. Everything stays local — always. The numbers you enter into the cost calculator are never sent anywhere or stored, either.
Our core commitment
Quitty is built privacy-first. Your personal health data — streaks, cravings, journal entries, quit plans — never leaves your device. We don't have servers storing your progress. We don't sell your data. We don't show you ads. This applies to everything in Quitty: vaping, smoking, drinking, weed, gambling, caffeine, spending and picking.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, location, health records, usage patterns, habit data, journal entries, or any personally identifiable information. All app data is stored locally on your device using your device's secure on-device storage.
Data stored on your device
All app data — including quit dates, streak history, craving logs, journal entries, plan configurations, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device. If you delete the app, this data is permanently removed. If you change devices without a backup, this data cannot be recovered, as we have no copy of it.
The cost calculator
The free calculator at quitty.co/calculator runs entirely in your browser. The price, frequency and years you enter are never sent to us, never sent to any analytics or advertising service, and are not stored anywhere — not by us, not on a server. Close the tab and the numbers are gone.
Subscriptions & payments
If you purchase Quitty Premium, payment is processed entirely through the Apple App Store. We never see your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status verification. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier — not your name, email, or health data. Their privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com.
Anonymous analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics (such as crash reports or platform-level analytics from Apple) to understand general app stability and performance. This data is anonymized, cannot be linked back to you personally, and does not include any of your habit or health data.
Third-party services
The only third-party service we integrate with inside the app is RevenueCat for subscription management. We do not use advertising networks, social media trackers, data brokers, or behavioral analytics platforms. We do not share any data with any third party for marketing purposes.
Children's privacy
Quitty is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from users under 13. If you believe a child under 13 is using our app, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
Data deletion
Since all data lives on your device, you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app data through your device settings. There is no account to delete and no server-side data to request removal of.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify users through the app or this website. Continued use of Quitty after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
